About Us

Now that you recognize how much perfectionism is affecting you, you can see how hard it is to show your true self to the world.

It’s as if vulnerability is a dirty word and being open and authentic with others is the same as asking to be judged.

You believe it’s important to be present with and accepting of yourself, but right now it’s easier to be distracted by frivolous tasks so you don’t have to face how inadequate you feel.

After all these years of being able to hold it together, things are beginning to catch up to you. You expected to encounter some obstacles, but you honestly believed that if you kept everything under control, you’d achieve your desired outcome.

When you look at your life today, you’re not where you thought you would be. You’re struggling to make it through the day and at the worst times, life feels like a heavy obligation rather than something you enjoy

Well, we are here to tell you, you’re not alone.

Feeling a constant pressure to get everything right does not have to mean that you’re not good enough. You are completely capable of letting go of the guilt and worthy of moving toward a place of self-compassion and connection.

Here at Bricolage, there’s something we know for sure

You have been suffering in silence for far too long.

Maybe you’re thinking, “I don’t deserve to move past this pain. Therapy may help others, but it won’t help me.”

When these thoughts cross your mind, you can start to feel like you are defective or beyond help. But we want you to see you have everything inside of you that you need to change. You just need to detach from these thoughts that have become unhelpful and discover the values that truly matter.

Often, when you’ve been doubting yourself and comparing yourself to others for a long time, you can start to lose sight of what matters most to you. Soon, you’re left feeling caught up in societal values instead of the ones that are personal to you.

But the truth is, living in the grey is really hard. And it’s normal to not be happy all the time. Even though you feel insignificant now, it doesn’t have to keep you from finding a place in the world that’s truly yours. Instead, you can be intentional about showing yourself kindness and embrace the things that come your way.

That’s where we come in…

As a group of compassionate and authentic change agents, we offer you the space to explore your story and rewrite it in a way that matters to you. By weaving together elements of self-worth, self-compassion, and the things in life that bring you joy and meaning, we work with you to craft a new narrative.

Bricolage helps recovering perfectionists let go of control and move towards flexibility.

Our mission is to empower women to embrace themselves. We are dedicated to holding a space for clients in whatever way they need, in order to feel safe and validated. We are passionate about helping our clients be more self-compassionate and gentle with themselves.

Maybe for you, you are so busy staying busy all of the time, that the idea of stopping and experiencing your thoughts and emotions can seem scary.

Bricolage is the place to help you when you want to be authentic with yourself, without fear of judgement.

Perhaps you’ve noticed you are criticizing everything you are doing as a mom. And that your thoughts and emotions are “running the show.”

Or maybe it’s as if you are being held hostage by food, numbers and body image.

Sometimes, having a lack of communication in your relationship can cause distance and disconnection, leaving you feeling so isolated.
