Joy Walsh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who sees clients in the Lombard office and via telehealth.

Hello there, I’m Joy Walsh!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social worker, but you might also call me a self love gardener, values explorer, or a creative confidant. I help people who long to feel that they are living genuinely, sick of feeling anxious or depressed, or want to never again re-experience their traumas, but fear the healing process or making the changes to do these things. I guide my clients to explore and learn who they really are, what they really need, and the tools they best respond to so that they can move forward in their life with open arms, hearts and minds!

At every touch point, I teach and practice from a place of integrity and authenticity. My focus is clear as I work within the realm of my values as a clinician: emotional awareness, identifying values, recognizing patterns, practicing mindfulness and empowerment.

I know from my own personal exploration and healing from significant loss that it’s easier to move through the process and feel vulnerable when you have a safe and non-judgmental space or person to sit with you, listen, be a sounding board and cheer you on. It can be such a scary decision of who or where that might be, but to start by asking for help anywhere you feel a connection is your superpower.

You are not broken, so you don’t need to “fix” anything.

I believe that self acceptance and genuine human connection will change the world. That’s why I hope you can jump start your healing and schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if you and I are a good fit.
