He/Him/His

Robert Flowers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that provides therapy for individuals and couples residing in the State of Colorado (in-person & Telehealth) and Illinois (Telehealth only). Robert also serves as Clinical Director for Bricolage Wellness.

Greetings, I am Robert Flowers.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that practices out of the State of Colorado and Illinois. I also hold my Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor Certification (CADC) and Co-occurring Disorders Professional Certification (CODP I) in the State of Illinois. I have worked with clients through different stages of life from adolescence through late adulthood. A phrase that resonates with me is “Esto Quod Esse Videris,” which translates from Latin as “be what you seem to be.” This mantra allows me to bring awareness of the importance of autonomy someone has in their life. I am no stranger to addressing ambivalence and obstacles that change may bring. My hope is that my interaction with my clients serves as an enriching experience as we navigate through the nuances and experiences that life offers.

I am pleased to share that I have completed Level I and II Clinical training for Gottman Method Couples Therapy and am looking forward to continuing my training and utilization of this style of couples counseling. I am an advanced mindfulness practitioner and strongly advocate for the use of mindful practices to encourage my clients to truly experience the present rather than getting swept up in the sensory overload that can be our day-to-day experiences. I have experience assisting people in establishing and maintaining stability as they work through the early and late stages of addiction and mental health recovery; however, I am not limited to working in those realms. Whether it is emotional management, managing and overcoming anxiety and depression, or continued recovery maintenance, an individual can expect to feel heard and validated when expressing their concerns.

My goal with Bricolage Wellness is to continue to provide competent, client-centered services, and integrated care to residents of the State of Colorado and Illinois. I aim to continue dedicating myself to ongoing learning and professional development to ensure I am providing quality care to our Bricolage community.
